Lengthen your eyelashes
Put a drop of essential oil in your mascara to lengthen your eyelashes.
Soothe minor burns
If you burn yourself, apply a few drops of essential oil directly (or mix with a carrier) on the burn for immediate relief. This works best if done right away. You can also use to soothe sunburns. For sunburns, place a few drops in a spray bottle of water and spray on the burn a few times a day.
Calming Before Bedtime
Lavender oil is great to diffuse at bedtime to calm your children. If you don’t have a diffuser, simply rub a few drops on their feet at bedtime. The smell of lavender is a great way to get a restful night’s sleep. You can even place a few drops on their blanket or pillow.
Relief for a bruise or cut
Rub Lavender oil on a bruise to promote blood flow, healing and relief for the tenderness and pain.

If you or a child gets an earache, take a warm and wet compress with a few drops of the oil and massage behind the ear and on the neck by the jaw line. Doing this helps reduce the inflammation
